So tonight I made lasagna! (It was SUPER delicious by the way!) And in my husbands family if you have lasagna you also have Italian sausage. So tonight we did just that. But here’s the thing. It.Was.Spicy. Ok not THAT spicy, but it had a little kick to it. For me it was just right. I didnt think twice about giving it to Kaitlynn.
She sure didn’t have any problems eating it.

But it DID totally make her eyes and nose runny. I felt a LITTLE sad for her. But really she just kept eating it. ON HER OWN. She seemed to enjoy it. Spice and all!
After the spicy meat I gave her a bowl of peas and carrots to play with eat. She had a lot of fun with the bowl.

I love watching her eat. ( I feel like I say this every post) But I really do love it. It is so exciting to see her work on getting things from the tray to her mouth. Some days are better than others, but mostly its just so amazing!

Yum! I love sausage that has a little “kick” to it!
Me too! I eat lots of spicy foods so she has tasted it from breastmilk. I just hope she is gunna like spicy foods like her brother and I.
very nice. I love that she got to experience some spice.
We had this today! Including the same style mixed veggies! Ours wasn’t too spicy though. Sebastian has had some of my food with a bit of hot sauce but nothing purposely spicy for him. Gonna have to get on that. We LOVE spicy over here. My only fear is that he will eat something really hot and then rub his eye.
I think she DID rub some in her eye actually cause her left eye was all pink and yuck till the next morning really. But it also is her goopy eye (she still has a clogged tear duct) so maybe it was just that. Guess Ill never really know. She survived it though
haha “survived”.
Looks like she LOVED it. I give Anneliese spicy stuff too and she really really likes it.
