Candy…I mean Bacon

We LOVE bacon in our household. My husband and his friends get together and just eat bacon and play video games, that is how much we love bacon. So we finally gave Pri a piece of bacon. She made her daddy proud.

She absolutely loved it. It won’t be something she eats all the time because bacon is pretty high in salt, but we don’t eat it all the time (as much as we love it).

The first time she had it the bacon was not super crispy and she had issues chewing it, the second we cooked it more and she was able to break off the crispy goodness.

If you want to cook a lot of bacon at one time it works best in the oven and comes out perfect.

I can’t wait to start Nick on bacon, hopefully he won’t have the same reaction as he did to bacon bits!

I want to know how this worked! How much did she actually ingest? I feel like Sebastian would bite off a chunk and then not be able to chew it more? We have that issue with pickles – He can bite off a huge piece and then it just sits in his mouth or he stuffs it in his cheeks.

The first time she had a tough time with it because it was not the crunchy kind of bacon, but more chewy. When it was cooked more she had a better time with it because it broke off.

Kynlee tried bacon a few weeks ago and loved it! Capri looks like she definitely enjoyed it also!

Anneliese had bacon this morning too. :) She broke off lots of pieces this time and I’m pretty sure she swallowed some.
