I have found the perfect snack for Pri. It is one I can take with me anywhere and I know that she will not make a huge mess with it like most other foods she tries to eat. The perfect snack food is peppers. They are great for them to chew on and suck on, even when raw (I think she likes it on her gums). They are not overly juicy so they are great to have for a snack on the go that doesn’t result in a wet shirt or super gooey hands.

They are easy to cut into long strips for them to hold onto just like MummyinProvence talks about in her blog post. You can leave them raw or cook them so they are softer. Pri has tried all of the bell pepper colors and likes all of them.

This is a good idea! We’ll have to try a milder pepper. (Ben is NOT into spicy. He cries).
these are just red bell peppers, so nice and sweet no spice at all. I can’t handle anything spicy so who knows how she will do (though my husband loves spicy so maybe she will).
FAB idea … must get some roasted and get BiP to try them out!
Wonderful plan! I need something portable for when I know I’ll be eating but not baby-friendly stuff. haha. I need to figure out how to peel a raw bell pepper, or find a good source for organic… SUPER excited the farmer’s market will be starting up again soon.
I am *so* excited for the Farmer’s market to open up. We have one right across the street that is totally awesome.
